Yep, if it's audio you want, SAW is probably the very best available at a consumer price.
I also have to give a resounding "YAWP" in favour of Podium. :)

AS if anyone cares about what I have to say.. ill say it anways.

Tried the final 4.0 release and it seems quite stable. Something must be seriously wrong.

Still not nearly as responsive or feature-rich as Saw... but certainly cheaper.

Podium looks like it's going to grow into a real winner, and is already there depending on what features a person could want.

I wonder, spoonboiler--

Is that "YAWP" barbaric, as well as resounding?

I used N-Track for years. Great program and great support generally. I switched to SONAR because I needed more sophisticated MIDI tools.

My experience was there was wide variability in stability between builds. I kept 4 different versions/builds on my system.

Good luck. N-Track Studio is easily one of the best values out there.
