Email them with the suggestion, they're pretty responsive.
Yeah, I requested they add a fairly obscure/cheap pair of Audio-Technicas and it was in the next update! :phones:

Any experienced users here? I currently use the demo version with my AKG K240 studio headphones set to 80% compensation. It's funny, since the compensation is supposed to make headphones sound more neutral / objective, but it usually also makes everything sound better (which indicates that my mix before Morphit already sounds good, since Morphit is only supposed to reveal what is actually there).

I also looked at Sonarworks and saw that the compensation curve for the same headphone model looks different in Sonarworks. Hence I wonder: are the compensation curves in Morphit reviewed and verified? I do think so, but need verification! Do songs mixed on headphones with the help of Morphit translate well from your honest experience?

@Kazi7
It has been on my monitoring channel for a few years. I mix only on headphones. Oddly enough the same headphones you use. I use Toneboosters Isone right after Morphit. My mixes have never been better. Now this could because I have used the same setup for several years now and know it well.

I don't use it until it is time to mix. I have found that if a mix sounds relatively the same on the different Isone monitors I am done and the mix will translate well from phone to car to home system......not sure about clubs. But I mainly do rockish synthwave kinda stuff.

Basically Morphit provides the curve correction and Isone provides the space and monitor size. This combination works very well.
We jumped the fence because it was a fence not be cause the grass was greener.

Yes, it's for headphones only. For monitors you have to look for Somarworks (software + microphone to measure your room).

Bumping this thread. I'm wondering what the purpose behind the compensation percentage is? Why would I not just have it at 100%?

An option for the room could be dearVR MIX following Morpit.

The idea is; It's correcting your headphones, and making them flat. So, if it's too bright when Morphit is on, then you do need to adjust your mix by taking some highs out.
But, in my case, I mix with a spectral analyser on my master, so I identify problems that way.
In the end, my mix normally sounds good with Morphit on... and off, although it does sound different both ways.
So yeah, Morphit does something, but personally, I don't really need it.
Alright so last question regarding how to properly use this. Do I need to leave Morphit on the master, or do I mix with it, then remove right before exporting master? Have read people doing it both ways but not sure whats the proper way, as the manual doesnt say much about proper way of using it, beyond how to use UI. Im either gonna pick this up or the SonarWorks. It cost 3x as much tho so Im undecided. Just want something that will help me translate all my songs across the board on earphones/cars/etc...
Have a look on Realphones you can keep all the time on the master, there is an option to be disable offline

It's the most flexible and powerfull with room simulation

I don't really get the Toneboosters demo concept. The plugins all seem fully functional.

As in doesn't save presets? Settings seem to be saved within my DAW.

Still going to purchase the MBC which sounds great, as well as Morphit.

They don't have a copy protection, a demo is fully functional, but you can't save

seems like I slept on a lot of cool plug-ins.... I'm digging this. Thankfully my headphones are listed and the corrected sound is not half bad. I also like the limiter which seems to be quite nice sounding and unobtrusive.

Seems there is a standalone version included now, anyone tried it yet? (hoping for a black friday deal)
