Really? Doesn't Wavetable consume more CPU than Serum?

I believe this is added in 10.0.6 beta, so I'm sure will be in 10.1
10.0.6 stuff should be in 10.1 already. (because 10.1b12 was build way after 10.0.6b6)
I don't think that feature (or what you mean) is exactly what was requested also in Suggestions on Centercode.

Well, this is an instant download.

FYI: To enable VST3, you need to enable it in Preferences, Plug-Ins.

VST3 supports needs work. When I delete or replace certain VST3 instruments (U-he in particular), Live crashes.

Yes, it's a known issue. Ableton already working on it.

BTW, 10.1 will be an excellent update. Now I wish Live had comping like in Logic, MPE, and piano roll/MIDI editor features and tools like in FL Studio to call Live perfect. But it is already awesome as it is.

Not on same track

The new sidechaining implementation is awesome. No need for a utility track. I tested on Fabfilter plugins, and it just works. Now if only they would add support for VST midi effects, we could eliminate even more utility tracks.

Update is absolutely Fantastic.
Still no Integrated MPE however?
Almost a Dream Update minus that.
The post above this is likely bait, viewer discretion is advised.

True, maybe I'll start using more the freeze function. :D

Well, by golly. Maybe they are listening after all. I am actually impressed that this update has appeared so relatively soon after 10. VST3 requests have been logged for the better part of the decade.

They listen yes. It's 1 year now after 10 was released, though.
Actually I think this update improves a lot more than 10 did.
With 10 they switched their GUI interface code, so this meant probably more work under the hood.

Live had a good alternative to comping, but they screwed it up in 10 by changing the editor behavior.

Hah. Just took another look. One of my suggestions was taken so that you can now type in automation values. Not that this took a genius to figure out. It’s just an extension of what is done elsewhere. But it does suggest that they do actually read their forums! I may have to go back and say thanks.

Could you all stop talking about this f*ckin MPE support as if music couldn´t be done without it...
Dios mio... every second word on kvr is MPE support... :x
If someone listen to you all, it sounds like all DAW´s have stopped working except the one´s doing MPE... and what´s behind it??? A perhaps nice to have gimmick but that´s it... :tu:

Another proove that marketing works...
