But but why did you buy rooMS if you find it meh?jens wrote: Mon Apr 01, 2019 11:52 am I have both too - soundwise I think Verberate 2 is stunningly lush while BX RooMS is decidedly meh... and when it comes to versatility again Verberate wins by a long shot...

I can’t speak for Verberate as I don’t use it, I’m not about to say anything bad about it either. Though I do have bx_rooMS and cant for the life of me figure out why there’s a bit of a hate thing going for it. It has a shimmer that I haven’t heard in many reverbs, then there’s that convenience that isn’t broken up into the 4 plugins that most other algorithmic designs follow. It has some interesting, unique features that you don’t see to many places, at lest not in the one reverb plugin. And it sounds great on pretty much anything.
Maybe it’s the style of music I mix, maybe people didn’t spend enough time exploring it. Maybe it’s just a taste thing.

I bought bx_rooms for $9. I wasted $9. No I didn't bother to demo a nine dollar plugin because I thought it must be worth that much since the list price is $199. I was wrong.......
