The project file structure and all the edits are there, including backups (phew!).dRowAudio wrote: Thu May 02, 2019 10:10 am The only things I can think of are that either [...] The crash is corrupting some settings file which is why the project is getting lost (is it still on your hard drive?)

Contacted Audient and got the suggestion to make changes in Windows Control Panel Sound Input/Output exclusive access or something similar, which I did. Hopefully that will take care of the random spontaneuos settings changes.
Having made sure all settings are correct and consistent in Audient CP and Waveform, I set up a minimal edit with a midi clip going through Arturia Analog Lab 4, and then the exact same edit with 4OSC instead. Both rendered fine when render settings were identical to audio device settings. Then I changed the output file setting to a different sample rate. The 4OSC edit rendered OK, while the Arturia edit led to a crash.
I suppose I don't need to send crash reports since you should be getting them automatically? Is there anything I can send you (dRowAudio) to help you find the problem? (Although it appears to be Arturia's problem, not yours.)

It does seem to be related to Arturia. My guess would be that it's not respecting the sample rate change message we send at the start of rendering. I'm not sure why that would be but if they can tell us there might be something we can do our end.
If not, it sounds like a bug they'll need to fix I'm afraid.
We will be getting the crash reports but they're anonymised so I won't be able to find the ones specific to you. If you email your log file to support@tracktion.com, I'll be able to find the relevant ones.
