Doesn't look like Midi out from the rack, therefore I'm genuinely uninterested.
Have you tried Vital?

Ok, we'll find out soon enough - it's coming out today. I'm betting on a new Player device judging by the colors

Not so fast - track folders in version 12 (paid for), track freezing in version 13 (paid for), MIDI out in version 14 (paid for), Hi-Res GUI in version 15 (paid for).

It's fantastic - and this combined with the new MIDI drag option (for further manual refinement) makes it even more powerful.

So no, they certainly didn't lose their mind at all - or if they did then in a marvelous way and then more developers should lose their mind like this.

So yet another $99 Rack Extension instead of... oh, I don't know? Track folders? Track freezing? MIDI out? High-res GUI? :(
That's something like AudioMulch's Metasurface.

I’m happy to give no money to Propellerhead until that last one. Also, I assume you’re being optimistic in suggesting the high-PPI GUI will come that soon...

PS: Let’s ALL continue to call them “Propellerhead”, since the new name is generic and stupid, and makes web searches even more impossible. You’d think they’d want to make their company more distinctive, not more generic in that way...

I simply do so - everyone can decide for him-/herself how to call so.

Yeah, I take that back :hail:

BeatMap really seems fantastic and MIDI Out opens so many possibilities for using Reason's Players, LFOs and CV utilities in other DAWs (via CC mapping).

I don’t really care if they have lost their minds - this is a great update!
