You see, 100% only works in unipolar mode. When you enabled the "Up & Down" mode, it changes to bipolar and it needs to be 50% instead.

Unfortunately it doesn't sound the same...
It drives me crazy that I can't figure this out
I still hope that somehow it is possible though since MSF and Melda in general are so versatile.
I'll keep investigating and hopefully either me or someone else will find the answer.

So he, added 3 math modules in between the first wavetable osc and the Generate Custom Mod module. Also, the receiving module is one block under the modulation chain. He also said that he things that this is very specific to my needs and that this is kind of difficult to implement since MSF is a modular synth. Not sure but I have a feeling that if more people show interest to this topic, Vojtech will figure something out. Adding 3 Math modules is kind of a workflow killer for me and even if I do that, still doesn't sound the same Anyway, thumbs up to Vojtech for always trying to help his customers, this is the best customer support in the industry in my opinion !

Thank you folks! Now it was all about bigger modulation range, right?... I'll think about it. I think the gencustommod could do that internally. It still won't be as convenient as in serum or phase plant, which are just designed for this, but it should do the trick.

Yes, I would also like to see some small improvements in this area... this is the achilles heel of MSF... The FM Module is great but to do FM with the regular Oscillator in Harmonics Mode or FMing Wavetables (my two prefered ways of doing FM synthesis) I always used Merger but this introduced some tiny delay in the signal... So I never was 100% satisfied with that solution...

I´m happy about the solution/preset from Vojtech... looking forward if we`ll get something more convenient.
