That's a pretty shitty attitude to have and will put off many people from being generous to others. Just because you've gotten something for free doesn't entitle you to get something else for free too.

Instead of being grateful for what you have received, you complain that you didn't receive more. Not nice.

I would love to get a free chorus plugin too, but it's not my choice. Instead, I'm going to make some money and wait for the next sale. Until then, I'll make do with one of the other free plugins that are available.

I think the point made was rather the bullocks reasoning. I have nothing to say against that decision, but a "won't happen because I don't like the idea" is more to the ground. Many of the multiband versions are rarely needed or more tempting than their single band counterparts +there are similar fx like multiband phaser and flanger which still are available in the free bundle. Just saying.

Actually, kiddo, I paid for the 'free' bundle. Assume much?

Who said it does? Oh wait, not me. Still assuming?

Since you have zero insight into what I received, or the conditions under which I received it, you're not actually in any position to judge any level of 'gratitude' to be expected.

So would you mind not concocting your fiction here; I didn't make any complaint about anything. I made no actual value judgement about the provision of a free single-band version of the Chorus or not. So, not just assumptions, yo actually make stuff up too.

What I actually did was I point out that Melda had undermined their own argument by already doing exactly what they said they wouldn't be doing. Which is a completely separate and unrelated thing from my opinion or thoughts on what should or should not be free or available.

Nor did anything I say express any opinion on what anyone, including myself, might be entitled to. There's no words in there that even touch on that, so that's basically another lie.

For the record, I own the Multiband version of the Chorus plugin. In fact, as part of Mxxx, I basically own every plugin Melda make, so there is no 'more' for me to receive, and Im already entitled to everything.

And Melda has done rather well out of my bank balance for that, so 'gratitude' doesnt have any relevance at the table.

So, got anything related to my actual post?
That's a pretty shitty attitude to have and will put off many people from being generous to others.
Clearly not.
In reality, if anyone around here has a shitty attitude, its you, the guy who just fabricated the entirety of your post around a combination of assumptions and lies.

Why are you so triggered, boy? Take a deep breath :tu:

Good on you for buying MXXX and still fighting for poor people to get more free stuff. You're a hero, sir!

But I was more replying to the thread in general than your specific post, so I shouldn't have quoted it. I apologize.

For the longest time there was no Reverb in the free fx bundle.
Now there are two free reverbs (MCharmVerb, MConvolutionEZ..and 35 other FX ).
So maybe there will be a MChorusEZ in the future.
But Melda Productions surely doesn't owe us a free chorus..or a free delay.
But then again they gave away MSpectral Delay (which is fun) for free two years ago...

Oh, the irony.

Which bit of "I didnt say anything about whether anything should be free or not" was too complex for you to understand?
But I was more replying to the thread in general than your specific post, so I shouldn't have quoted it.
Well done, you certainly shouldnt have. Pity you decided to compound your stupidity by doubling down on it, though, isnt it?
I apologize.
Well, no, given the tone of your response, you didnt really apologise, did you? You just made more shit up.

I stuck a delay (there's a delay in MUtility) before MVibrato in an FX chain. * Both are free, by the way.
And voila...I got a chorus effect. Not instantly a great one, because I just picked a random piano and
played with some knobs, for like, 2 minutes. But man, there's a lot of flexibility here. You can
really micro-tweak a lot of parameters. All kinds of custom shapes, delay times, panning options,
depth, phase....on and on. All with free plugins.
I am a paid user- Mastering Bundle, MXXX, MSoundfactory & more. And, I did get addicted to the
plugins, from taking just a little taste of the free plugins.
So, my revenge for getting addicted toMelda stuff is to...recruit more addicts!

So, since a chorus effect is basically a delayed copy of the original sound,
with a modulated pitch bender, all of which you can get for no additional money,
hopefully this an acceptable option.
