Well, another option?
Fortunately this one should be simple, I hope.

Yep, already done, beta should be out in a day/two, so please check it out.hb_kvr wrote: Wed May 13, 2020 3:56 pm Is that a yes? Thank you so much!
I guess it won't be available before my trial period ends.
No worries, I'll just buy it when the feature gets implemented.

I checked it out, and the "immediate play/mute" feature itself works beautifully the first time on each looper track. Thanks so much for this.
I'm not sure what to call the 1 to 4 within each track and am calling them "alternate". Unfortunately, "immediate play/mute" feature works only once on the first record on each track/alternate, and then ignores it next time on that same track/alternate.
If you try recording once and click "clear loop" (while the DAW is running) to record another loop on the same track/alternate, "play/mute" doesn't work and the overdub problem is back.
After "reset all" it worked only once for each track/alternate.
For now, we can workaround by using a new track / alternate for each live loop(16 tracks * 4 alt = 64 live loops) and avoiding use of "clear loop".
I'll leave it to you whether future update will allow multiple attempts of play/mute. Your looper looks amazing anyway with all the added features in beta.

Thanks for the feedback, unfortunately I'm not really sure how to understand that. Could you make a screen video showing what exactly is happening?

I've been able to record a short video, but couldn't get audio recorded, sorry.
It seems easy to follow the behavior of the looper, even without audio.
The video has this workflow:
1) Record to looper track 1
2) Record to looper track 2
3) Click clear loop in track 1 and record. Auto stop does not happen.
The video zip file of size 1.6 MB was too large for the attachment limit, so I uploaded to Youtube
It is only viewable for people who have this link. I will remove it after you confirm you've seen it.
Please let me know if the problem is still not clear.

I checked with 14.06b and the issue still remains.
Considering that the UI is about the same for this workflow, I'm hoping you can refer to the previous video.
Let me know if I have to upload another video with the next version.

True, this thread is getting very long
To repeat, here is the issue, that I've recorded in a short video, but no audio recorded(sorry). It seems easy to follow the behavior of the looper, even without audio.
The video has this workflow:
1) Record to looper track 1. Auto stop works.
2) Record to looper track 2. Auto stop works.
3) Switch back to looper track 1, click "clear loop" button, wait for the loop to clear and then record. Auto stop does not work, recording remains on even beyond configured duration.
Please follow till the third step in the workflow video(which you had requested) and let me know if I need to explain it further.
The video was recorded on a previous beta version, but I have tested till the latest 14.07 release and found the failed auto-stop on "clear loop" issue still remains.
