Moving around in the midi editor

I just 2 days trying the new Waveform 11 FREE edition.
In the midi editor, I found out that to make the bars higher/taller is to drag the arrow at the end of the keyboard display up and down.
But I haven't found yet on how to make the bars wider in the midi editor.
In other words, I still cannot find on how to make the midi editor bars size "sync" with the track panel bars size (or vice versa).
From the picture above, the track panel bar size is wider... it shows 7.25 bars (bar 13 to bar 20.25), but in the midi editor bar size, it's shorter as it shows the whole timeline bars (42 bars).
I wonder how do I make the midi editor bar width is sync with the track panel bar width (or vice versa) ? Something like this :
Starts from a condition like in the picture above, when I use the mouse scroll on the tracks panel - the bar's width in the track panel is going wider/shorter - but the bar's width in the midi editor is just stand still ??
There is a "zoom" button there, but I don't find it zoom enough.
And I also don't understand that if in the tracks panel using mouse scroll will make the bars wider/shorter, but in midi editor, mouse scroll will make the notes "track" going up and down ??
And I also haven't found out on how to have the midi editor "needle" position by clicking (just like in the tracks panel), not by dragging the needle.
Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advanced.
Edit:
Just found a solution:
In the Appearance setting, I change the "Default Midi Editor Position" from Panel to Clip.
Thank you.

On waveform 13 this still seems to be an issue, I have the general tracks area set to scroll horizontally with mouse wheel, and it scrolls vertically when on the tracks right area (plugin section), zooms vertically with ctrl + wheel and horizontally with shift + wheel. But in the MIDI editor, wheel scrolls vertically, shift + wheel and ctrl + wheel both zoom vertically. What is this?

shift+keyboard arrows move the selected notes one notch in each direction.
due to the fact that the entire midi clip fits into the midi window with all repetitions, if any, working with the midi window causes a feeling of some formless something, personally it would be more convenient for me to work when I can set the length and width at the beginning, which would be further for all new or edited clips by default, but these are personal preferences, I understand

alt wheel in the midi editor zooms horizontally, and shift wheel zooms vertically. It's the inconsistency that really messes with my brain though, considering that in the tracks area alt wheel does nothing and shift wheel zooms horizontally.

I bought a touch pad for the sake of navigation. Its better than a one wheel mouse but for both my settings are:
wheel - scrolls the view (add shift to zoom)
over tracks area scrolls vertically
i think this is most intuitive, where wheeling over the arrangement and tracks scrolls vertically across the tracks and wheeling over the timeline scrolls horizontally along the timeline. I press W to move to the beginning of the currently selected clip, W again from there to the start of the track
using the timeline to navigate with a mouse is pretty standard daw behavior. if you don't want that and don't want a touch pad, get a mouse with a side wheel. the only part that's kind of weird with my settings is how the horizontal zoom modifier over the arrangement is shift, but over the midi editor its alt (ctrl is vertical zoom for both). with these settings it's only a one button difference which imho is easy enough to get a feel for.
