MSuperLooper massive Delay when using midi controller? Different controllers have hughe latency differences.My fault!

I'm afraid there's no solution for that sorry. You can never know what the "latency" is. In fact, the latency shouldn't be there. I'm used to record live electronic drums, with audio i/o 64 samples with no problems. That's about 1,5ms, so my guess is that your controller just sucks , sorry to say. Though try a different DAW. I recentaly ran into a weird issue with Reaper, where everything was delayed, for no reason. I ran Live, no problems. Eventually I managed to make Reaper work win WASAPI driver (or what it is), and it somehow stopped doing that even with ASIO, so apparently something weird was there and now it isn't

Yeah, that's what I wrote: My Controller has 20ms latency. I found ot, that MSuperLooper has about no latency and that is great!!! I think many controller out there are so weak like my Korg NonoPAD2, so it would work to compensate it. I like Korg NanoPAD2 when I just throw a laptop & babyface in my backpack and on bike to a dancing event. It is a nice footcontroller, the smallest possible, when you add some woodpads on every second back-pad. That way I can use 8 Pads with my foot.

So I'm sorry, I was so busy with all that new toys, that this topic changed every 2 hours and I was really too fast with my interpretations and it was my fault, but adding somewhere a hidden latency compensation in form of a setable recording (monitoring has to be without delay) delay for the first Loop-Cycle for slow controllers would be a dream. As I said, I do this 'manually' and it works very very well, although that means another footswitch being used for turning on the recording delay for the first Loop-Cycle and again something to think about when rather just performing.

1000 Thanks for your help, I really consider this as a nieche and I bet in 1 Year this place will be really crowded, because all your devices turn out to be simply the best on the market + your concept of MSF with the possibility to create protected devices with serialnumbers is just insane (in the best way), this should change the whole Plugin market...
