Really sad that Livid Instruments also discountinued their Livid ds1...this one will be better to control vst like Diva...more direct controls...
http://lividinstruments.com/products/ds1/
I hope to see a ds2 with even more knobs, buttons and faders
I really don't understand why you Guys at U-HE don't work on a controller like this one with templates and covers for each of your synths.
Softwares synth miss decent controller... more more people go on Behringer cheap analog clones because of the lack of good dedicated vst controllers.
There is a market for that
Aurex project is the proof of this lack

Hey all. Thank you all for pledging and supporting! Yeah I agree, the DS1 is one of those super high quality controllers I really really like. Unfortunately I didn't had the chance of buying one before they where discontinued.
I agree dedicated hardware synth controllers are still hugely missing in the music industry. I've waited for years but nothing was made. That's why I decided to build one (well, at least the brain of it
) myself.
Did you guys see the new update?
From now on, TYRELL N6 is also supported!
I'm not going to lie, I need more supporters so I hope this will attract more users.
I'm also working on some new features.
One of them is bringing the FX and ARP control functions from the LaunchKey over to the Launch Control XL on user preset 2. This will expend the range of controls from over 130 to over 190 (all synth related functions on midi channel 1, all FX / ARP / other on midi channel 2)!
I'll bring you the full scoop in the next weeks

Have done my first live automation jam video with the DIVA CTRL i'm currently beta testing for aurex.
Beware classical music fans, it's Techno music
Showing the great envelope control with the 8-ADSR mode and changing Wave forms, filter, resonance, filter fm and mod control.

Thank you Dermage!
And another update from myself, explaining some features and demonstrating a few new functions I’ve been working on. Please share if you like this. Thank you!

In this vid: different menus / modulation assignment/ LFO setup with buttons, differences with standard MIDI controllers / 8Fader mode / reset function / pickup mode (takeover) / FX and ARP control

Hi there, we're back in action!
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/au ... va-plugin
This time the Kickstarter campaign will include a PDF file that you can print and cut out yourself, or you can ask TAKTILITY to print a hard cover for you, which is definitely the preferred option for me. The paper version cuts costs by a lot (no hardware prints or postage costs) so I don't need a huge number of backers to make this work.
HARD COVER AS AN OPTION
I'm working closely together with https://www.taktility.com/overlays/launch-control-xl/, a German company who specialises in overlays for hardware devices. As a result, you can order a DIVA hard cover / overlay directly from the Taktility website.
Let's do this!

You're asking for 30€.. the same price as the early bird but without the hard cover.... it's a little bit overpriced just for a script with a free player and pdf.. if you ask me. 50€ with the hard cover...
You want us to pay for your software licence with this kickstarter... so the next synth script will be 20€ ?
I can't understand this price...
Is the actual Diva script now ready or do you still have to work on it ?
Also "Bonus: U-He's free Tyrell N6 synthesizer will also be supported"
so it's actually not the case... does it mean a second printable pdf ? and a second script ?
How people will receive your script updates ?

Hi. Tyrell can be controlled from within the DIVA template and is already working.
Script updates will be sent by email.
Here's my reasoning for the price:
(I'm not doing this in a PM as I think this concerns any potential backer)
1. I need to invest in a custom BOME license (which obviously costs a lot more than a single user license). Keep in mind that there is a custom BOME player included in this bundle.
2. Kickstarter takes a fee.
3. I want a little bit of return for more than 3 full months of hard work (designing, programming, testing, debugging, ...) .
4. I want to be able to provide free, high quality support to people who bought the software.
5. without Kickstarter, the price would be 59 euro for a Bome license, and 20 for my preset (I can't give this away for free, I hope you understand). And that's also without a hard cover. So you pay almost 3 times less now.
6. The pricing before was based on selling more licenses (so I could get a lower price / unit). Acknowledging that the previous campaign failed, I needed to cut my own wage by a lot and up the price for each bundle because I will not have hundreds of backers. I which I would, but that's just reality.
I honestly don't know why you think I should ask even less? I'm not earning lots of money for this even if Kickstarter succeeds (not at all in fact, less than 1 euro / dollar for every hour I spent). I know that people always want things cheaper and cheaper, but honestly this is as low as I can possibly go. If you don't think this is worth 30 euro, that's fine by me. But please, understand that I am really trying to make this work at a fair price for everyone. Do you think a preset library for a synth is worth 30 euro? That's the same price as the DIVA CTRL bundle but most probably didn't take 3 full months to make. And still I think that's also a fair price. I'm doing this project because I love it, and want other people to experience the same thing.

Hi. I'm afraid the Kickstarter campaign isn't progressing fast enough, so I would really like to get some help. If anyone who's interested in this would be able to repost this campaign (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/au ... iva-plugin) on social media, I would be really grateful. I appreciate all the help I can get to make this become reality. Thank you so much!
