I noticed there was no track listing for the live DVD over on amazon so thought I'd let you know what to look forward to:
A Tab in the Ocean
Desolation Valley
Nelly the Elephant
Man in the Moon
Recycled
It's all Over
Remember the Future PT2
Now
Crying in the Dark/King of Twilight
Fidgety Queen
There is also a companion DVD from the same show, a complete performance of the Remember the Future album which I don't have yet but for some strange reason the format only works for North America.
Glassback let me know what you think after you've seen the DVD ok?

Thanks - I wondered what was on it...
didn't really care though.
Is that the full version of Recycled (as in, the whole of side 1; 18 minutes or whatever) or just a part of it?
I did see Remember the Future on offer there, but it was out of stock anyways.
Shipping from the States could take up to 6 weeks or so, but I will be sure to tell you how much ecstacy I'm in once I've watched it.

umm, not so sure about the entire Recycled song, to be truthful I'm usually so tripped out by then I just listen to it.
I think because of the time restrictions and the wealth of material performed(some quite lengthy)it is probably a slimmed down but good version.
Unfortunately Larry Fast is playing a Kurzweil 2600 and is rarely seen and not as loud in the mix as I would like to have heard him.
SIX WEEKS!!!!!

Hooray for Evolution, can't wait!!!!
Between my brother and me we had just about all of the albums back in the day. I only have Recycled on cd at the moment.
Wouldn't mind finding Thru the Ears and getting that DVD. I noticed that there was a double best of but I don't think it was Thru the Ears.
A couple weeks ago there was a Renaissance thread on here too and I wound up getting Turn of the Cards. Been playing it nonstop ever since.
Of course I had the two best of cds, and a bunch of other albums but not TofC. So...
Gotta love KVR.
Here is where I first learned of Autechre too - as well as some other "IDM" bands. I have almost all of the Autechre cds now and love them.
So... thanks everyone for helping to expand new horizons and revisit old ones!

Thru the Ears
No, I used to have a Passport blue cassette of this way back when. Then later the lp. So we had it here in the U.S. too.
But recently I saw a double album best of that I think was just called the Best of Nektar.
I'll have to check it out. Maybe it was a rerelease of Thru with the same tracks but a new title...

Well, they say allow up to 6 weeks for custom clearance - shipping is actually in approx 2 days from order, so I'm hoping that's a worse-case scenario.seamonkey wrote:Wow!
Thanks for the link.![]()
It's too bad you couldn't have ordered from their store, I'm sure it wouldn't take 6 weeks.
But yeah - what a shit I didn't think to Google Nektar earlier.
