How can I add a single sample wav i.e. sample import into hive to use as a scanned wavetable. Also how do I import a single cycle into hive? Must I do it through Zebra? How do I import audio into zebra that is more than just a singlecycle sample Import?

Hive can load pretty much any .wav file. But it can not load multiple ones and stitch them together through its UI.
You can however use .uhm files to import, normalize, adjust, filter, stitch, crossfade, morph, arrange .wav files (or other .uhm files) in an extremely accurate fashion. And because they are simple text files, you can repeat the same transaction over and over just by editing the names of the source files, which makes this pretty quick. Not "comfortable", but effective.
