One question, I’m a big MPE fan, but as a Rise 49 user, there’s no way to put a pressure threshold on at the controller level. Does this synth have anything like that? (Look at Equator for an example)
In the default Relative mode, you can set an amount, positive or negative, that the knob or slider is affected by an MPE gesture. In Absolute mode, you can set minimum and maximum values to constrain the response to MPE gestures, and you can even invert the min & max to reverse the results. In both modes, you can set a custom response curve, too.

That's the best way to deal with MPE stuff! Why not On Velocity and Off Velocity to just get all the 5 MPE dimensions available?

You know, every time you laugh about me when I post stuff like that, I have to think of that Dune 2 update where Richard implemented the "analog" envelopes, for more snappiness.

Guess you have to laugh about the developer of your favorite plugin too then. The Filter ADSR section in version 2.5 gains an "Analog" switch, which uses a novel circuit-simulated envelope model for the filter and amplitude envelope. The circuit model is based on discrete vintage-analog electronics, and models the envelope with a very high accuracy.
The difference is usually best audible with fast attack times, where it creates a very "snappy" envelope.

Looks great. And I know you want to avoid feature creep, but I must say that a second envelope like with the Roland cloud version, would be really nice. That's my only issue with the TAL Uno as well.

I wonder if this will be the first of many stand alone instruments from CA - the Polymode would port, Airwave with add on could be a modern Wavestation...
I am a big fan of Voltage Modular, so I am more interested in the modular stuff, but I can see that there will be benefit to CA in getting some of this stuff out of the rack (for non believers

Small bug:
If I resize the plugin, then close and open the GUI, it is back to its default size.
This happens in all DAWs I tested (Ableton, Bitwig and Maschine) with both VST2 and VST3 versions of the plugin.
Also, in Ableton Live only, if I close and reopen the GUI and then try to resize using the drag handle, only the window resizes but not the plugin. It then looks like this:
This only seems to happen with the VST3 version.
Edit: I was able to get the resize bug in Bitwig too, by dragging the right or bottom side instead of using the drag handle:

I tried to run the demo but they insist on a login. I consider this "foot-in-the-door" business tactics and therefore bad ethics. I just uninstalled it. If more of us did this, these developers would soon be forced to change their tactics. I for one will never buy this synth!

Speak for yourself please, and don't suggest you speak for anyone else. If you don't want this, then that's fair enough. No point in dragging others into your perception of "ethics".

I wasn't going to install the demo once I realized that it wasn't a VM module but a VST (
I know... need to read stuff 'till the end
)
Anyway, after reading about the "login" thing (which at this point, I don't mind, if it allows the dev to "know" me and what I own).
But... what surprised (and truly annoyed) me was the audio feedback watermark noise of the demo.
Isn't this a registered (Cherry Audio knows I have it as a demo!) time-limited (?) demo license? If so, why use the annoying audio watermark !??!
If it's not time-limited, heck, make it so. Remove the audio noise during the trial period and bring the abnoxious feedback noise back once the trial period ends... as the alternative of simply disabling the demo (which I guess, anyone in their right mind will either uninstall or buy it).
So, totally not pleasantly impressed by the demo experience
Also, not sure if throwing $25 (fair low price) at Cherry Audio is worth it ...and owning a few Juno emulations, including the DCO-60 module(s), doesn't help
If it was another VM Instrument module... with MIDI input, it would be a no-brainer, to help CA keep developing modules and improving VM.
As a VST, I'm not convinced (yet).
I'm having strong UX/UI related (personal/subjective) issues (demo behavior not helping either).
But, to anyone interested, it's quite a killer price...

why, does he say that about every plugin made? all the analogue switch does is make a click when attack is set to zero, which makes it useless
the original adsr is perfectly fine, as is the mseg, which leads me to believe you have no idea what you are talking about, and just like to throw around buzz words.

When you make an account yiu get Voltage Modular Nucleus for free, it’s worth having (as is year 2 pack which includes this synth in modular form. Which makes it more interesting....)

Anyone else not having any presets? The default preset folder is not even created during installation of v1.0.13.
