NetVST is free, but requires a bit of complexity to muddle through, and I never did get it to work with more than one 32-bit VST at a time. That was within NetVST, and not a Waveform issue.

There was, not too long ago, a fellow on here advertising a free bridge, but despite his pleas of innocence, it was clearly laden with malware. I suspect he either knew, or didn't realize his compiler was putting it in. Either way, I don't advise touching that one.

Watchful - thanks for your response. You and Peter have advised against NetVST.
I have come across some links on google for supposedly free versions of JBridge, but they seem to be for version 1.74.
I've found a paid version which is 1.75. Is that the latest version? If so, I am assuming that is what Pough etc are using, and should be the one to try

Post

Not sure on Jbridge. I know it works and is inexpensive, but I no longer have any 32-bit plugins to try! As a result, I never got a copy. Not sure I'd trust the validity of a free copy, either. The developer is a one-man shop and makes almost nothing off Jbridge, so naturally I'd want him to make something off every copy used. I could be wrong about those free copies, but it sounds risky.

You should only get jBridge from this website: https://jstuff.wordpress.com/jbridge/

1.75 is the latest version. That's what I'm using.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

I had tried 1.75 demo version. https://jstuff.wordpress.com/jbridge/

There are also some free little tools there, which can be used for some oddball translations you may need. Make sure you get the 64-bit package.

Watchful, Pough and Peter - thanks. Now I know which is the right one I'll investigate this.

Thanks to terrynoakes, peter widdicombe, watchful and pough for the advice about using JBridge with old 32 bit plugins.
This works nicely. Great stuff!
