Love, because it is so flexible and can do mostly anything. You maybe don’t need other stuff than mxxx. Hate, because I can’t do it myself. Would like to do things like this myself. Maybe I doesn’t invest enough time in learning it, the learning curve is really high, too me.
I think that’s also the problem of other people.
Maybe it would help, if you could a how to video, if you have the time. Will also take a deeper look into your preset.
Thanks thanks thanks

To me MTurboreverb would also a better solution for the clone, cause mconvolution drops the audio every time the signal while changing the timing.
There are 2 clones.. the "AND Epic Turbo" uses only MTurboReverbs there are no convolutions in that version. Try it out, it's the pastebin link in the original post.

And you're welcome! Tbh, it just takes a bit of time to be able to do stuff like this. Trial and error.

I'd be willing to do an in-depth tutorial on a live stream, so that people can ask specific questions and I can answer stuff directly that way.

I've actually recorded some really in depth tutorial videos on building in MXXX but they take forever to record / edit and they are just sort of all over the place so I'm not gonna upload them. More confusing than helpful :(

I admit to falling for the marketing hype on this plugin and picked this plugin up. I'm looking forward to checking out what you have done. Thanks for taking the time to make and share this with us!
Glad you like it! And you're welcome :D

Q+A even better!!!!

The link works now. Feedback will come.

Would love to get it working like you can.

There are many presets, but most are cluttered and don’t have the great structure as your preset and that taking the fun part too me. Don’t need realistic looking plugins, but clear guis, which work fast. And you’re presets do this!!

Great work :) :tu:

It just shows what can be done.

If you get a chance, download CLA, mute everything but delay 4, turn the Dry / Wet to 100% wet, make sure it goes direct out and move the "Crowd" slider.... It's just a saturated stereo widening effect of some sort.

Funny enough, in the documentation, Waves doesn't call it a delay either. They call it a "sort of CLA invention" lol

I'll figure it out tho
Had a listen to the "crowd" in CLA Epic. I think MStereoGenerator followed by MChorusMB and saturation will get you in the ballpark. To me it sounds like a delayed, thight, dense room with chorus.

Very nice work, both under and over the hood.
Would the inception approach of MXXX inside MXXX gain you anything by way of access to more MPs?

Seriously hope you don't stop making videos. You do what chandler and vojtech dont like to, which is clone other plugins. Any chance you could try making some izotope style stuff? Nectar, Neutron, Ozone and Vocalsynth style stuff? I figure you could with the order module

I think we're both on the same track but there's a couple things I noticed.

1. The signal gets narrower than the original signal when on the left.. so I need to incorporate that somehow (getting closer to mono)

2. There is a delay but not in the traditional sense. It's like the delay based spread in MStereoSpread which causes this mild chorus effect

3. There is a massive tonal difference. It's not like width, it makes it sound like it's far away from you but not to either side. I think matching the tone using AutoDynamic eq would be the way to go

Tonight I'll have a V1.0.1, so check back so you can lmk what you think :)

Thx :D
(wo)man, I wish. It just gives you more under the hood configuration options. Those lower level MPs can't be brought up to the easy screen..

I don't plan on stopping any time soon :D

I would gladly do the iZotope plugins but you would need access to graphs from the easy screen to accurately do something like EQ. If you have to go into the edit screen, even just for something like EQ, it sort of defeats the purpose, I think.

But who knows, I'll probably give it a try at some point anyway lol

Never thought of that. But hey thought it was worth an ask!

This is what makes Melda so different and so great, when people spend time to tweak the innards and can turn out something like this and say to the community 'here you go guys, a whole new gizmo for you to spend hours in'.
Looking at that Edit screen all I can say is thank you Horus for your time and hard work. It sounds and works brillantly.

Updated to V1.0.1

I've changed some cosmetics on this great preset;

Removed the sliders and replaced with buttons (horizontal controls)
Changed some knobs to buttons
Changed the Reverb Device control to fine movement (found I was skipping past lots of options)
Messed with Reverb colours

Didn't alter any of the wiring.

This was my first adventure into the Manager and not understanding it all yet. Going to watch some videos. Could post the PasteBin if you don't mind Horus?
