I would *love* to boost Filterscape with new filter models, and it surely wouldn't be difficult and all, but experience tells us, what sounds like an easy job may end up requiring a lot more commitment.
I'd be happy to wait :)

I bet most of us would prefer Z3 before updates with filters to anything else.

yeah, I guess the question is whether it still makes sense to do the MFM and Filterscape GUI updates pre-Z3 if you're then going to turn around and want to do a major update with new filters etc immediately post-Z3 and I imagine that really depends on internal workings at U-he HQ that no one here but Urs are fully privy to.

I don't see a vast issue between a UI update now and a feature update later. Alternations to our UIs are usually painless, such as adding a drop down or a tab whenever and option is added.

Thing is, our UX guy spends idle time on projects like these anyway, there are drafts for literally everything in abundance, at some point we just need to commit to "let's do it". This is how Zebralette got her recent make over and soon Triple Cheese.

MFM and Filterscape in particular have additional geriatric issues, e.g. Filterscape's copy protection is so old that we might have to schedule new serials with the update, to allow for unicode support. So there is already more to that anyway, including days of meetings about how to communicate that...
