Unfortunately, the sound quality seems rather outdated to me.
A well-behaved signature.

There will be more modules for sure. The devs love the razor blade model.

Wtf happened to this company? Fugly GUI and underwhelming release. Is Venus Theory the poor man’s Dan Worrall?

Its probably 1999 Tassman code recycled, like everything else they've done since then.
An idiot on Set Theory:

i ve just tried it and purchased it, not the best analog sound but prety flexible with the included module and very low cpu usage. not a vintage sound but a really flexible digital synth.
i hope AAS will include the module/osc of their other plugins.
time for me to leave KVR.Bye bye ! 03/2022 :phones:

I do like the AAS stuff. (really need to go and play with Tassman again, after this conversation). If I didn't have voltage modular, I'd be all over this. Do I really need another modular synth????? maybe....

Does this have audio rate modulation?

I like Venus Theory alot. But not sure it was wise to take on this release whilst also launching a new beginners series on voltage modular on the Cherry Audio youtube channel. (which i watched this morning in the gym)

Hoping for a better offer for those of us who already have the modelling collection - if I click on the complete at the moment all it offers is add-on banks not Multiphonics but I assume they need to sort that aspect of the website out

Anyway I've emailed their support to ask - they are usually pretty responsive

The VenusTheory video said it does so guess so.

I like the look of it, quite tidy but not sure it'll do anything VCV can't for me.

Interesting the price says from $99 ($79 intro), maybe an indication of more modules to buy later?

And that's kindof the rub for me. It looks like the Objeq Filter is its one and only party piece -- every other module is just bread-and-butter stuff you'd see in any modular. I think I would have preferred seeing this as a paid module in another product, such as VCV, Voltage or Softube's.

I dunno, I think it's kinda neat. Certainly seems pretty light weight so far, compared to pretty much every other software modular I've tried.

Why is this new stuff not in their Apple M1 compatible list ?
Do I have to wait for an update of something released today ?
Not convinced by the sound of the demo's, but maybe I have a bad ear day.
The interface looks uncluttered. I do like that aspect.
The list of modules does look very basic compared to the competition.
Maybe they should team up with Ableton (they already did this in a way) to develop the Ableton grid :-)

It’s M1 compatible, I’m demoing it now, it’s super light on cpu, impressively actually.

I have a feeling they’ll at least be adding there physical modeling collection as modules ;)

Thank you for mentioning the M1 compatibility.

If they would have done that from the start, that would have convinced me to buy.
