Looks like ~35 modules, Richard Devine patches as required by Synth Law.
80 bux for an intro price. No working link to the manual yet.

Looks interesting. I was hoping they might have an upgrade for Tassman owners, but I didn't see anything. It's nice to see the Objeq filter in this, but I'd like to see more of the other modules from Tassman added; it was a bit different from other modulars. I don't think I need this, but I'll keep an eye on it.dumbledog wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 2:18 am https://www.applied-acoustics.com/multiphonics-cv-1/

Never used Tassman, how does it compare?
Seems like you can't use it as an effect?

Huh, I was wondering if there was an upgrade from Tassman 4 and when I logged in it doesn’t even seem like they think I own it. (I do)

Hmm, I'd complain that there's no upgrade path from Tassman, but after demoing CV-1, I think Tassman is actually more functional, since it's polyphonic and includes an FX version for processing external audio. Those are the two things I'd be most excited about, and they left them out, so... meh?

nice interface design and patching but it looks pretty basic in terms of modules available.
if they can add at least twice as many modules and some interesting digital oscillators and FX it might be worth a look but compared to what already exists or even what was in Tassman it's lacking.
i wonder if they plan to sell add on modules to it as further revenue stream?

I used to like AAS so much until they discontinued Tassman (my favorite besides Reaktor).
i agree with the last 2 posts, meh.

No physical modelling modules.
What a major disappointment!
Tassman has one hundred and four (104) modules
These are a few of the PM modules in Tassman that are not in this thing:
Bowed
Flute
Mallet
Marimba
Membrane
Organ
Plate
Plectrum
String
The software engineer for Tassman, Stephane Tassart left in 2000 so AAS may no longer have a PM programmer.

Tassman still has a charm to it and is probably AAS' best product. It's a shame that they couldn't figure out how to keep moving forward with it.CrystalWizard wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 3:22 am With the user manual link not working i need to watch a video?

Agreed. Nothing about this or really anything they’re doing really excites me in the least.ghettosynth wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 4:13 amTassman still has a charm to it and is probably AAS' best product. But the great thing is that it is extremely low on CPU compared to other modular synths.

I hope there will be more modules and a discount for me as a Tassman owner.
Yes, there are still not enough physical modeling modules and an FX version. But the beginning is interesting.

Seems the Objeq Filter module also functions as an oscillator.Michael L wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 3:36 am No physical modelling modules.
