Interesting…Helix certainly has a big advantage being able to use it ITB or live as hardware…..jdnz wrote: Mon Jul 12, 2021 8:00 pm“the finest tones finally break free” makes me think they’re talking about standalone hardware running amplitube for live use (dblock wrote: Mon Jul 12, 2021 4:50 pm "The finest tones ever..." probably is not anything to do with a saturator.
Modo guitar gets my vote.

If that's what it is, they'll need to update the older amp and stomp box models to be on par with current modeling.jdnz wrote: Mon Jul 12, 2021 8:00 pm “the finest tones finally break free” makes me think they’re talking about standalone hardware running amplitube for live use
The JMP, JCM Slash, AC30s, Supro, Fenders, Oranges, and Soldano all would need a do-over.
Same for stomps like the Tube Screamer, Big Muff, RAT, Fuzz Faces, and MT-2.
And if they update those models for this X thing, then by god I hope they get updated in AmpliTube 5 for everyone, too. If not, there will be riots.
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

Whenever IK Multimedia says "tone" I always think of Amplitube. Freeing tones = editable amp sims? If so, to what level? Swap modules? SPICE-like circuit simulation?

Expensive 'individual' digital modelling guitar pedals.
X-DRIVE distortion
X-VIBE modulation
X-TIME delay
X-SPACE reverb
I cant really see the point, going for the Line 6 HX Stomp seems better to me (they have everything in them 300 amps, cabs, and effects) these pedals only have 16 FX and you need all 4 of them to cover the range of FX a guitarist may need? £300 each = £1200 + VAT- 1500??, you can get a full HELIX or even a Kemper for that for that!
Anyway, not for me so I will move on.

yeah, not to mention that these are digital pedals, so each of them will add a AD/DA stage and a small amount of latency. i don't see the point of having them separately, short of simplifying the interface (or aiming to sell more units
).
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.
