To be fair: the Custom GUI for devices button only is visible in the settings as soon as there actually is custom GUI. I also do not see this button in MTurboDelayMB, but I also do not see any custom GUI.
System: Win 10 64 bit / i9 9900K (8x 3.6 GHz) / 16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM / 1TB M.2 SSD + 2x 500 GB SSD / RME Babyface / Reaper

Yeah I basically noped out of the exhausting waste of time with that useless weirdo asap and just submitted an actual bug report, because as it turns out the MB versions of some plugins are just using the wrong "Settings" dialog (likely of the generic multiband-wrapper) that is missing that option, so if you exclusively use those variants the setting is inaccessible. At least the config syncs properly between the MB/regular variants so that's a valid workaround for now and it should be a trivial fix.Tagirijus wrote: Tue Feb 17, 2026 10:28 am To be fair: the Custom GUI for devices button only is visible in the settings as soon as there actually is custom GUI. Needless to say I was very relieved my initial concern about the removal of the setting turned out to be as false as I was hoping. I think the skeuomorphic UIs are great for many, just not for my specific workflow.

A bug is a programming error. Just because you don't like or understand something doesn't mean it's a bug.RoadCrewWorker wrote: Sat Feb 21, 2026 9:49 am Yeah I basically noped out of the exhausting waste of time with that useless weirdo asap and just submitted an actual bug report.
The behavior you see makes perfect sense from a programming perspective. If a plugin doesn't have a custom GUI, it doesn't display the setting. The setting is in the plugin the GUI belongs to.
It might be bad UX design, but that's a different story.
Calling everything a bug won't give your suggestions more priority. It just makes you annoying

Hello! Thanks for the troubleshooting. I thought I had found my solution in this thread, but in MSoundFactory and MXXX this option is not visible, even when I load an element that has a custom GUI.
Do we have an answer for this?
