Thanks!! So, trying to summarize: I buy now the upgrade plan and register it before the 7th Oct. Then I will get a free uhe synth and the upgrade plan will then start after my current upgrade plan has expired in Dec 21? (... sorry it is my first renewal)

Regarding the synth: you'll get a registration code that needs to be redeemed at the u-he site by October 31.

Can I swap my synth license (since I have both) for a u-he effect?

I don't think anyone involved with this sale is posting here, and I'm too deeply involved with other stuff to know what the deal actually is. Best to just mail support with questions that go beyond what our newsletter or the text on Bitwig's page say.

Funny, I did the upgrade deal late last night and completely forgot about it.

I'm loving this relationship with u-he and Bitwig. I recently just became a full-time Bitwig user and I love it to bits.

The Bitwig folks are just really nice and lovely people in general.
And they have created the coolest DAW, imho.

Thank you @ codec_spurt!
We also don't run any data mining on our customer records. All of that is completely unnecessary and a waste of time and trust. (Companies who have numbers people may see this differently, but then, we also don't have any need for numbers people either)
Anyhow, I think I have more accurate information about the world of plug-ins by talking to people, e.g. here.
Analytics have always been utterly useless. We don't have any analytics on our website (anymore), but we might do a customer survey again at some point.

They still have some stuff to iron out and features to add, but it would not surprise me if it became the dominant DAW in a couple of years. At least for electronic music. Media composers will probably keep using Logic or Cubase.
