Save Project - Close Live - Edit WAV - Open Live - Re-open Project

I prefer using cltr+N, for new Set, which also closes the current one (instead of closing Live itself).

Looking at the API, it doesn't seem to have functions/classes for putting samples offline.

Probably. But its not going to be trivial.

I want to copy over a .Wav file open in Ableton but Ableton keeps hold of file handle - any way around that ?
