Modular area workflow

In Mulab 9 you can have undocked sequencer module (called composer), also I like the idea of split view between modular area and composer. As of right now the composer's modular area in docked mode covers everything except for rack desk and browser, would be great if it could be adjusted like in the pic above.

Hope i didn't communicate false hope as i can't promise anything yet atm. But will see if i can add at least 1 improvement in the modular editing in M9.0 (cfr that earlier reply). Hope you understand M9 already took a vast amount of dev time and really needs to move towards release. Still many todos before then, also non tech todos. Further improvements will surely come thru in M9.x.

I think that modular area workflow improvements is great for advertising and great introduction for newcomer who try a software, the GUI is one of the main reason to keep try and meet all the features of the software.
Therefor I have to say that imo it should be top priority.
Anyway, I fully trust you to know what is most important for your baby from your coding point of view. keep it up

I tried to add some quick improvement in the modular area but i feel doing this in a rush is not the right technical choice. It will be for M9.x.

Yes i see the need for enhancing workflow aspects in modular area and front panel design.
