Maybe but until they make a statement caution is not a bad idea.

Maybe the voice enhancing and audio cleanup software they have ? Either way, hope they got a fortune from them.

That explains the email I got from them (Accusonus) 10 minutes ago.

rather algorithms/technology than plugins
probably/maybe:
AI + audio + processing -> telco technology -> encryption etc...?
maybe add a little bit of surveillance, open microphones etc to the soup...?
embedded bits&bytes in your future cellphone?
or audio cleanup in future audio-chat services ?
edit + p.s.:
for example "metaverse phone"

I see their server is down. Is that the end of them? I got 3 repeat emails with my serials in them

Ugh, I'm pretty sure that I don't have the latest downloads, are they hosted anywhere? I guess I'll just wait to see if their website comes back up.

If I was about to do maintenance on my website that would be down for a day, and I knew that KVR members had serial numbers stored on my site, I would send all of them an email with their serials and instructions on how to activate their software, cause they are the most complaining bunch of people I have ever seen.
Boom headshot...oh wait, KVR members, that includes me, eish.

Like many here, I just got one today too -- and I can't remember the last time I heard from them. I didn't even know what I had from them until I remembered I got Regroover for free from Focusrite.
I'm interested to see what's going on with them.

I have an Accusonus account although I don't remember why. The account was created in June of last year and not accessed since then. I don't think I've ever purchased anything from them which probably explains why I haven't received any emails.
Do the emails say anything or do they just contain your serial numbers? Numbers won't do you much good if you didn't back up your installers.

The email includes your product key(s) and the name of the product(s). That's how I remembered what I got from them (courtesy of Focusrite). And like you, I haven't been back to their site since I created the account to download the software...which I still haven't used.Teksonik wrote: Thu Mar 03, 2022 10:44 pm I have an Accusonus account although I don't remember why. Facebook owns you all, now... (if it didn't already..!)
j/k
Hopefully, the Accusonus site will reappear and explain what's going on...
Edit: I looked at the email which was posted elsewhere, and to me this smacks of the "we're ceasing business, and providing all our userbase with their serial numbers and a way to activate their software once we're gone" thing.
They don't seem to be replying/engaging with any comments on their FB either - which you'd normally do if you have a bunch of customers asking what's going on and why the site is down.
I've gone through this a few times, notably with Camel Audio and Redmatica, and both of these companies scrambled to make sure their users retained access to their purchases once the company exited that space or ceased trading.
I would guess that their new FB overlords are not in the slightest bit interested in continuing to work on audio effects for the tiny musician's market, and instead want them for sound-related work on their various platforms, likely their "Metaverse" big bet.
