Windows XP computer has died - What is the easiest way to see filter(plugin) settings from Tracktion 2 files?

Yes, Windows 8.1 64bit. I half expected it to abort installation. But as I say, installed and worked ok. None of my 3rd party or newer waveform's own plugins showed up. Just the default one's that came with T2. The only downside( unexpected) when I uninstalled it, some of my W12 settings went with it.

That's interesting that it would run on your 64 bit system. What did you lose from W12 when you uninstalled T2?
I hope I am not the cause of this and you were trying T2 for my benefit. I am so sorry if that is the case.
I have W11 Pro so might experience the same problems? Thanks for your responses

Nothing that was too important.
Was quite interesting to see how much the GUI had changed though .
Probably best just leave T2 on pc.

FWIW, the T2 installer provided by terrynoakes works just fine here on a relatively modern 64 bit PC running Windows 10. You obviously can't register it but if you just need it to load the projects so you can peek at the plugin settings it will do that. I'm EXTREMELY doubtful that it will interfere in any way with any recent version of Waveform you may have installed.

Well - days later I am still awaiting a response from official Tracktion support. I feel stuck until I get a response from them, but really appreciate the offers of help re old versions of Tracktion, particuarly from Terry Noakes re T2. I did find the original CD with T2 on it but I am assuming this will only run on an XP Operating System.
Terry you said you had installed T2 and it ran the demo songs. Was that on the Windows 8 64 bit system you have in your signature? If it was I'm wondering whether it might work on my Windows 10 64 bit system?

Your T2 projects might work under some of the earlier versions from 4 onwards if the latest version can't manage it.

NAD - thanks for the feedback. That sounds just what I need. Unfortunately, I won't get a chance to try this soon, as I have had to go to another part of the country as my mother's house has been flooded by a burst water pipe. A real mess.
My desktop machine is at home. However, all your helpful feedback means that this should work for what I want i.e. to get information about my plugin settings on my projects. I will try my own T2 disc when I get back and if that doesn't work, I may contact you Terry to get access to your version of T2 given that you and NAD have found that it will load projects.
