Thank you Antonio! As a Daw I use Bitwig, with many different VST's (Arturia, Uvi and Softube are my favourites).

The actual algorithmic composition is done with tools I've developed in Python. The system outputs around 40 tracks for the song. Each track is composed with separate algorithm (one for bass, one for pads, several different for melodies etc). I have some plans to release these algorithms (maybe in a book format).

I've done some tape loops (with real tapes), but it was long time ago. Currently I'm doing algorithmic composition!

For me that sounds like badly executed tape loop, with a click and not properly synced.
