FileSilo is for older issues. MusicRadar (another brand of CM's owners) is now hosting the downloads.
And the system has changed - no need to create an account. Instead:There are three questions with multiple choices relating to the magazine's content.Answer three questions to unlock your download content to accompany Computer Music issue 316. Please ensure you respond carefully, as each user will only be allowed a limited number of attempts.
There was also some debris on the Q3 page and the site reported that I had entered incorrect answers. Stepping back a page got "You have correctly answered the security questions and can now download from the following options:"
The bad news - the videos are now on YouTube - I could not see any download links.

They had a cull a few years ago, all the 32 bit only plugs (diversionCM, Dominator etc) were removed or moved to a legacy folder I believe. I think there's a still a few VST2s in there.felis wrote: Sat Nov 05, 2022 4:52 pm Any idea how much of it is 32 bit or vst2 only?
Also - when you open it, is it easy to see what individual files/synths are there?
It's just a zipped folder, open it up and you'll see sub-folders for each plugin.

I had the same error message - it immediately put me into rage mode as I couldn't have answered them any better. I soon chilled when I found that it was lying!DarkStar wrote: Fri Dec 02, 2022 5:17 pm Just seen cm316.

I found having to manually copy the link text from the magazine to be able to get the serial number for the new free synth mildly annoying and it seems like a step backwards in a world of cut and paste.

Yeah, you're right!chk071 wrote: Mon Nov 13, 2023 12:26 pm Computer Music recently switched from FileSilo to hosting their plugins on their own website. Buy a new Computer Music issue, and you get the download links.
The last issue on FileSilo is 283.
