pretty sure electronic music started a bit before stockhausen was on the scene :)

I feel like I saw a similar post somewhere else that I'm not registered with.

Have you looked at Pigments yet? The additive section can take you to pretty inharmonic places.

OP knows all the answers but asks for help. Strange.

that's happen when someone trying to explain things which has not been asked.
There is a question, normally it's fine to answer that question

Nah I think it’s what happens when someone is just that kind of person that probably believes they are entitled to things, and when something contradicts that core belief, the only emotional response they have honed over the years is to get snippy.

You’re doing the exact same thing over on Gearspace for the exact same question:

People are offering help and this is how you reply? It’s like you’re genuinely confused and frustrated that people aren’t pushing each other out of the way to offer you an answer to your vague question in hopes that you approve of it.

All the above said, I’m pretty confident I know exactly what you are trying to achieve with the sound example you posted, and could explain how to do it or which synths would be best to use, but that info will go to the grave with me before I share it here. 100% because of your attitude.

because people behave the same in most places. You ask for something and they start to make lessons about things not required. About that topic you should take the whole part, not only those part that are good for your theory (And this behaviour put you in the same stage of these people..it is really unfair..poor you)
You should, anyway, refine your search and find another one i made, in s.o.s. forum.
There noone wanted to be a professor, and you'll find a really smooth topic
Simple and straightforward
But is nice that you spend all these energy in this, must be rewarding..at least this!
Take care!

Not much energy tbh, just like making that sound you posted, but if it makes ppl think twice about engaging with you further or in the future, very much worth it. Best of luck.

We're specifically talking about tone clusters here. The sound design is in the composition.

127 different midi notes with pitch bend, any synth can do that. It's pure composition (or when random: calculation)
We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated. Image

stefanocps wrote: Thu Nov 17, 2022 9:59 am Hello, looking for a soft synth that allow me to create a not defined pitch sound
Any suggestion?
OK, probably now I understand you. I could point you some options.

[*] The first option is Ogun by Image Line. This synth is really good in synthesizing cymbal-like swell sounds (reversed cymbals). You could synthesize pitched and unpitched sounds with it. Some examples from factory presets: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1d9h85Y ... share_link

Unfortunately now you can get it only by buying FL Studio.

[*] The second option are synths that are able make sounds from images. Harmor by Image Line can do it (now FL Studio only too). Other synths exist but I hardly could name them. Feed to them an appropriate image (may be, edited in Photoshop or GIMP) and you' ll get long evolving unpitched sound. It depends on an image you have choosen. Experiment.

[*] The third option are granular synths. Feed an unpitched sample (background noise, real sounds etc.) to it and play with knobs. Samples containing many simultaneous or successive pitched sounds should be good too.
One of such synths is Padshop.

[*] May be Kaleidoscope deserves your attention. It's not a synth. It's an effect. You should feed in it some audio input in realtime. But sonically it is similar to what you want.

[*] Also look at this: https://www.fsynth.com/

@stefanocps

Your example was a bit misleading. Sorry.

Look at Native Instruments Reaktor (free Reaktor Player is good). There are many granular synths for it. Even for free.
