But I think MFM2 cannot have this morphable SVF in the feedback path. (this idea was the secret intention of my question
) Just trying to imagine how this would sound together with seemlessly modulating the filter type (probably somewhere between and around AP and LP)-

Only reason why audio update rate for delay lines makes sense it when they are modulated by osc's, which filterscape can't ..

Sry, maybe my formulation was bit misleading. I was not talking about audio update rate but the delay times being in the audible range (e.g. a delay time of 1/440 s for an A) and tuned to the pitch of incoming MIDI notes.
