And this is my noise box.

In addition to the springs, it also has a spinner, a steel ruler, and an aluminum radiator from the transistor.
I connected it to a computer where the sound is processed using the Ambient Reverb plug-in to produce a very long-lasting deep reverb.
One of these days I'll record a video where I'll show you how it sounds.

Nice. How did you attach the fidget spinner?
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

The spinner used had two bearing caps connected to each other by means of an M5 thread.
I just took the bolt on the M5 and screwed the spinner through the sleeve to the body.

My wife decorated it to look like space.
I'm going to use it in my ambient projects. :tu:

I recorded a video where I demonstrate my noise box, the signal from which is digitized and processed by the Ambient Reverb plugin. I also control the plug-in parameters in real time using a MIDI controller, while getting an interesting sound. :tu:

Sitting on an old HD or SD card somewhere I might have a video of that show you did in Berkeley with Tom Nunn. Hmmm....

I made another noise box.
This time with kalimba tabs, with a built-in preamp on the TL072 op amp and a "Delay" effect on two PT2399.

So far, I've soldered all the electronics to the prototyping PCB.
If there is interest from musicians, I will order PCBs.

This is what a noise box looks like after painting:

I haven't recorded a demo video yet, but it will be soon, as soon as I sign the handles and the power switch.

And a few more photos of the last noise-box taken.

Oh Yes, please!
You can be creative in any right place on Earth, and not only in the wealthiest cities. Bring the world feelings from everywhere, and not only feelings of capitalistic or jail environment.

I finally made a video with this noisebox.

The next stage will be a noise box with an integrated effects processor based on the Daisy Seed microcontroller.
However, the trouble is that they are not supplied to Russia. And while I'm looking for possible workarounds to acquire them.
