UVI Phasor

- Good price
- Getting the Venus Theory guy to launch demo your product was a good move (he's great)
- Gorgeous GUI
- It's UVI so I know to expect quality (Thorus is my absolute fav)
- As someone said UVI are good at making plugins that are feature-laden yet still very user-friendly

However, upon watching the video I am instantly reminded why I dislike phasers in general... it's like you have long metal pipes attached to your ears and someone is pouring water into them

I prefer the more "chewy" thick churning analog style phaser of a Phase90 guitar pedal - can this do that? Audiority's emulation of the Phase90 does it OK.

No. A previous poster mentioned its a good DIGITAL phaser but not anything "analogue". However its a good option for the type of phaser it is.

Damn...missed the intro price by 3 months. Lovely GUI & sounds superb...just not sure I need it. It would be nice as a standalone effect, but Phasor is included in the free UVI Workstation....so I think I will pass & maybe get Phase Motion 2 by Audiothing.

questions for owners of Phasor and Thorus...
I'm thinking of grabbing one of these with my vouchers, which one are you using more?
I'm generally a phaser fan and don't use chorus very often, do you think Thorus might inspire me to use it in other ways or does Thorus offer much that say Tricerachorus doesn't (the only other chorus plugin i own).
Phasor is very clean and i wasn't so impressed with the demo, though i didn't get to use it much and now the ilok demo has expired. It might compliment my other phasers (which are generally the lush thick kind).
US$24 seems too good to pass up.

i'm still a bit shy after the powercore years.
i'll check them out some time, doesn't look like the phaser can be purchased separately though.
I doubt i'd use the other stuff. not paying a hundred bucks for it that's for sure

If you do guitar, it’s a worthwhile bundle. The SCF is a true classic pedal, and the Booster+ is really good, too. The pedal has been a “secret weapon” for high-gain metal, but it also does a great job as a Texas treble booster.
