Not sure the world needs another phaser but I am a fan of their Thorus.
Good to see a reasonable intro price given the crowded market.

Things really start happening when MIN and MAX are opened up and the modulation waveform is messed with.

It sounds great, and the controls and GUI work nicely.

I don't see a way to link Min and Max together, but that would be nice. And then, if they could add a keyfollow/tracking ability so Max and Min would move proportionately as one played up and down the keyboard, along with a zero rate setting option. Not really what it was designed for, but it could be cool.
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

There is zero rate if you set the LFO mode to Off.

They seem to get the right balance of features, accessible workflow and informative GUIs.

It's okay, but not amazing. It could use a variety of phaser types / characters, an envelope trigger for the phaser, and more intense feedback for people who like those heavy phased and comb filtered type effects. Between this and Thorus, I prefer Thorus. But I do like their effects in general, and I think that after an iteration or two, this could be cool. Its got a character a lot like the uhbik phaser, which isnt quite the flavor I prefer, but it can be useful. I'd still reach for DDL Phaser over this, so the Tim P classic phasers for Nebula. I honestly feel that when we compare to pedals, this is still an area of plugin development that could be better overall

Tried it. Deleted it. It's a digital phaser. Yes, it's good, and the entry level price is good. Good features, digital sound. The UI is a little on the small side and, oddly for 2023, it can't be resized - or at least not that I found, which may mean I just missed it.

I'm buying Instant Phaser MKII, instead. I already have Fazortan2 and Volcano 3 (in which you can create excellent digital phasers).

it is a nice phaser, not sure i need it though so prob wont buy it

i already have this phaser in falcon, is there any discount for falcon owners? looks like they've changed it slightly, adding drive and some more options for shaping the lfo but I don't really need those

maybe IL are planning on releasing the stuff in falcon as separate plugins, which i wouldn't be completely against as theres a lot of cool effects in falcon that it would be great to use outside of it, but really a free falcon fx version is a reasonable thing to ask for for the price of falcon. Im not going to pay this price for each of falcons effects to use outside of it when ive already paid for them once. I do like their diffusion and diode clipper though so maybe would get 1 or 2 but not fussed enough about the phaser.

If they added more to the falcon effects, maybe then i'd be more interested. IL's easy/fun GUIs with falcon's sound quality could be great. But a phaser doesn't really need much more. I would be interested if it had a control for the Q of the allpass filter inside the phaser, which is quite a rare feature, I think I've only seen it in fabfilter volcano and reaeq's allpass modes, and ssl x-phase, not in a dedicated phaser plugin
