Update is unusable for me (intel mac). Glitches and increasing sound break-up, even with stock Waveform plug-ins. I’ve gone back to 12.1. I imagine it will be sorted out pretty soon.

Fixed: Now WF correctly transmits track names to plugins. For example, for comparison tools Psyscope pro, Spectrum 2, Hornet multi freqs now you do not need to manually enter the track name.

NON FIXED: when using the modulator on other tracks (other than the track where it is installed) and then installing any plugin on this, other, track, the modulator settings are reset. Example: we install the Envelope Follower on Track 7, with the same modulator we modulate any parameter on Track 1. Everything works great. As soon as we add any plugin to Track 1, the modulator resets all settings and targets on Track 1. This problem comes with version 11!!!!! Is it really hard to fix it? how old is this mistake? almost 5?

And what "religion" prevents you from adding an "infinite" number of points to the Breakpoint Modifier and changing the curvature of the segment?

mmmm, and now why do we need to display one equalizer in 3, three, three!!! screen locations? It would be enough for me to look at it in the plugin window when calling it. When I proposed one idea to developers, I didn't think that in the end I would get 1% of the implementation of this idea

Regarding the CPU load, I don't see much difference between the versions, everything works within the loads of the previous version, there are no jumps.

Who knows how to enter the rack now after applying "...multi-out wrapper..."? - it's decided. And by the way, Undo does not work after applying "... multi-out wrapper...", in the sense it does not remove this rack.

Well, the most delicious thing is, look at the picture again, nothing changes from version to version, this problem passes. It's the same with midi. Be careful and when you record clips, then take a warning (lookahead

) in order not to lose sounds, notes... But! When rendering the entire composition, nothing is lost, but I still leave one bar empty at the beginning so that nothing is lost.

I recall a new VSTi mentioned in the NAMM videos. I think it was called Additive and a player of files of assorted formats, including BioTek and others. Can't find it on the menus in 12.5.3, however. Has anyone located it? Cheers.

Before the update I opened 12.1.x and went to the download manager. I opted to update to Waveform 12.5.3 and it said it had installed it. I reopened it and it was still version 12.1.x. Had to run the downloaded exe. Not really a problem, but the download manager said the installed version was updated and it wasn't.

The download manager tells me Windows Stem Separation Content is installed, but Split To Stems tells me it can't find the required feature pack and it's not in my Downloads folder. [Asked it to Reinstall from Download Manager and it is now usable].

Yup, same message here. just been running that stems install a few times. Turned off the auto install option, downloaded (many times) watched the temp download file thingy appear and then vanish when the download finished, but can't for the life of me find it after that. Re-installed Waveform, no joy.

There was also an error at the end of the installation, I pressed Repeat and everything worked.
I'm sorry, I didn't notice that there is a difference between the record in version 12.1.8 and 12.5.3. Based on the pace of fixing this bug, we will get a normal record, from the zero point, in 5-6 years. In the meantime, we will admire the beautiful wave shape... during the hours of reflection, we will click on the hide/open global tracks button, including the Arranger track, which in principle does not need to be hidden, well, or have an option for it at least to ignore this action...

Has anyone tried the video file option? I was hoping to get tracks named Video 1, Video 2, etc, but can't see how. I've dragged a small file to a music track and also loaded one via the Video button, but can't get to the video window, which appears to be there, but I can't get to it. Most odd.

Is Waveform Pro offered without a bundle? I was going to wait till v13 and a sale to get a cheaper price, (I'm currently using Pro v11). It seems the cheapest price is $300. That includes Biotek & Retromod plugins. I remember an option to buy just Waveform for $150. Am I going mad or has this changed?

If you click on Waveform Pro/buy do you see an upgrade option? I already own it but I see an upgrade option for 99 dollars for just the basic app.

There's currently a memorial day sale on at the website with 40% of everything.

I don't know what the memorial day is remembering, but I expect one can still get the 40% off. There's a code on the website.

The upgrade option is there, and is $60 with the %40 memorial day discount. I figured that for the $150 with the 40% discount I could skip an upgrade and get v13 for $90 when/if released in 2024, effectively saving $30 long term. Since there doesn't seem to be upgrade paths for 2 versions back, I guess it's upgrade now or not go Pro again since it will become unaffordable.
