Hello ystrmrk,

Your observations are correct, and I am already aware of them. Even though it might sound unusual, I must insist that it is a performance issue. The proof is as follows:

1. When you open a simple plugin, such as MBassador, and examine the affected Multiparameter knobs, there is no issue in both DAWs, Bitwig and Logic, as it is not CPU demanding here.
2. Additionally, if you open Logic Pro in Rosetta mode, it exhibits the same behavior as Bitwig. This is because Logic Pro in native mode "disapproves of" mouse manipulation, causing the feature to be disabled in native mode, resulting in behavior as in to "Tablet mode."

Should you switch Bitwig to "Tablet mode," it will exhibit behavior similar to Logic Pro in native mode.

I understand this can be frustrating, but currently, you have two options under macOS:

a) Switch plugins to "Tablet mode." and it will behave like in older versions with all its pros and cons.
b) Keep "Tablet mode" turned off. However, please note that in complex plugins, these three parameters in the MP window may experience the performance issue and exhibit peculiar behavior.

Rest assured, we are actively working on a fix for this issue or a possible workaround.

Hi Martin,

Uninstalled and reinstalled. Same crashes.
I tried the .aax version of the plugin with ProTools 12.4, no more success, same behaviour and crash.

Everything seems to work fine with any other Melda plugin (didn't tested all ;-), and MGuitarArchitect loads presets fine with other amps, except NeuralAmpLoader that crashes, especially when loading a .nam profile, but sometimes even just when inserting NeuralAmpLoader subplugin in architect's chain. or just playing a sound (so then the plugin isn't sleeping anymore).

I tried to join the crash report, but cannot find a proper file format (.zip, .txt, .rtf are not allowed)

Dear laurentVeliscek,

I am really interested in the crash report on macOS 10.12, as I do not have such Mac. What is important for me is mainly the call stack - then we will know if it is usable on 10.12 or not. You can contact me via email martin@meldaproduction.com, where .zip and .txt formats are allowed, or you can make few screenshots.

Hi Martin,

I just sent you a crash log by email
BTW, I use a mac mini with Mojave 10.14.6 (not 10.12)

Have you tested NeuralAmpLoader with Mac Os 10.14 ?

Thanks

L.

16.08 works great for me, except for the NAM integration. It has strange behaviour in Studio One and Cubase on Windows 11 (all latest updates). If I add the mGuitarArchitecht plugin and then add the NAM module, it works great, but if I save the project and re-open it later, the kernel plugin repeatedly crashes until I remove the NAM node. I can then remove the whole plugin from the insert and re-add it and it will work fine for the rest of the session.
