Oh god billy corgan....talented songwriter but holy shit his voice is like screeching on a chalkboard.
That song where he sings "despite all my rage im still just a rat in a cage" - it sounds like he's holding his nose while yelling.
Smashing Pumpkins would have been a million times better with a female vocalist.

I have no idea why the piercing pitched progger was wailing about him. thought the convoluted Canadian lads were more into the bonkers bollocks of Annie Rand?

does seem an odd choice for a subject of a song. but they do say "sing what you see every day" obviously the lads are checking out bcc parliament or something?donkey tugger wrote: Sun Jan 21, 2024 8:39 pmHe was the General Secretary of the Labour Party between 1994 and 1998;

Are you guys being serious? The song was written in the 80s. It's referencing a character in a Mark Twain novel.vurt wrote: Sun Jan 21, 2024 8:47 pmdoes seem an odd choice for a subject of a song. but they do say "sing what you see every day" obviously the lads are checking out bcc parliament or something?donkey tugger wrote: Sun Jan 21, 2024 8:39 pmHe was the General Secretary of the Labour Party between 1994 and 1998;
