Just nabbed mine for $34 total! My demo's about to expire, so it's perfect timing.

Actually the demo doesnt expire, you can still use it but it'll have a noise burst every few seconds. Anyways welcome to the cult!

I've locked Jules in a room with a computer. He only gets one slice of bread and a cup of water a day. He can't come out until...

Thanks, Beno. We were worried that Jules was doing something like enjoying his life. I'm sure we're much happier knowing that he's been enslaved. ;)

If you want to enhance productivity, add a six pack of Mountain Dew to that! Plenty of caffiene and sugar to help with that coding frenzy thing! :-o  :D :hihi:

Oh, and pizza once a week. It's amazing how that helps.

Actually, he seams to respond better to beer as a reward. It's amazing what he'll do for a Guiness.

Then it turned into a joke, usually involving those furry rodents made popular by a certain Bill Murray film...

But now it seems people can't even be bothered to joke about this subject any longer.

I suspect that T2 will be a totally awesome program when it eventually emerges...

...but by then I suspect many of us will have jumped ship. If this thread is anything to go by, several people are either considering or have already invested in alternative products, specifically Live 4, Sonar 4 and Cubase SL are all mentioned.

People who fork out now for programs that meet their present need are hardly likely to stop using them and pay out for T2 in the near future. Customers once loyal to Tracktion are clearly being lost due to the ongoing silence from Jules/RMS/Mackie.

All people really want is a vague idea of what to expect and when, so that they can make informed decisions about whether to invest in something else (which they probably don't really even want) or stick with the sequencer they love, knowing that a missing feature that they need will be available soon.

From a marketing perspective this can be used in a positive way, as the recent addition of a Sampler to energyXT well illustrates. The users knew it was on the way, some had the chance to help out as beta testers, etc.

By way of comparison, it is clear too that many Acid 4 users aren't interested in Acid 5, which has suddenly been sprung on them out of the blue. In the intervening months of silence, most of them have invested in alternatives to Acid, such as Sonar and Live.

PLEASE can somebody who knows give us an idea of what is happening with Tracktion? We are loyal supporters asking a reasonable question here :!:
