that's not really an explicit statement that this product won't be released. it's pretty craftily worded - I'm sure the statement is true, but there's no explicit indication as to which stage they are saying the Toneverk is at, or will go on to be.

I'm not really buying that Toneverk is a prototype that won't make it to production ... looks to me like it's well passed the prototype stage. The whole point of prototyping is R&D'ing a product until you've nailed it down so you can start spending money on the production stage, which the Toneverk looks to be at.

But then again, what do I know.
