Let the speculation begin...

I see references to drums, arp, song mode, mod matrix, machines, etc. I'm guessing it's a do-it-all groovebox. Note that it's not called "Analog Tonverk", so I'm guessing it's sample and/or VA/FM/granular/etc-based?

Thanks for the info.

Very interesting indeed.

Maybe an Analog Four / VA / Wavetable?

A kind of mix like the Syntakt (Analog Rythm / Model Cycles) for example.

The Wavetable is missing from the Elektron catalog.

A nice surprise in any case.

With a bit of luck, if it really is a leak, maybe available by the end of the year🙂

Imagine if it were digital but had analog filters? I don't know, maybe that's my wishful thinking.

Function control of 'editor' under the normal sample button hints at a more in depth sampling engine perhaps.

Curious to see what the bus/midi section is doing too.

Ew, looks like it's possibly USB powered.

Hope so.
Everything should be USB-C powered nowadays, it just makes everyone lives easier.

Plus, it will soon (or already is?) obligatory on EU.

it is like a monomachine? several engines

Why would it be obligatory to make all instruments powered by USB C? And doesn't it potentially run the risk of introducing noise?
I lost my heart in Cap de Creus

Exactly, it's a terrible idea. Especially when you have crappy implementation like Roland, where it's next to impossible to completely negate noise issues meaning you have to run it on internal batteries or via a power pack.

If anything was USB-only powered, it would be the overpowering reason not to buy it IMO. Compulsory in EU? Which EU does he live in - not the EU everyone else lives in, for sure...

The Waldorf STVC is USB powered and it works fine. Gives you a chance to have just the right length cord.
The volume coming out is really low and I always have to compensate and still never hear noise.

I wish they would just rerelease an updated machinedrum.

"It’s great to see the speculation in the threads even if things occasionally drift a little off-piste. At any given time there are a number of prototypes in various stages of development. It would be strange if we didn’t have any since creating music machines is what we love doing. Some eventually see the light of day and others stay in the proto stage.

But… we do have other fun hardware things in the pipeline. And Overbridge for Digitakt II is soon done for some multi-streaming audio madness. So, speak soon.
