Eternal Arps. How cool is that?

For me, it is a fun tool mainly to use when I'm experimenting and have no particular goal. But when I have such a goal, I usually manually make my arps.
Eternal Arps' novel way to manipulate the arps is a flat out cool and creative GUI design. Is it original to this plugin? I'm wondering if anything else has a similar approach.

I'll gladly take it off of your hands.MarkLivesinLA wrote: Fri May 01, 2026 5:40 pm I got this yesterday in a "mega" deal that included multiple plugins for $10. Honestly, it's OK but it creates a lot of rather blasé and unmusical arpeggios. I like that it comes with a few built in sounds (the pan drum is quite nice). While I can see it being a fun add-on for the price I paid, I'd never want to pay anywhere even near its regular sales price. You can't actually program the arpeggio or introduce swing early, nor can you determine note order (up/down/random/as played), which is fundamental to most arpeggios.
The several triggerable arpeggio patterns are not independently interchangeable or customizable beyond a certain point. this thing begs for a simple sequencer interface that is missing.
It's not a bad plugin but I find it uninspiring for the most part. Several years after its release, the documentation continues to state that the manual is in "beta" which is not encouraging. Surely a couple of days of solid effort could get it to wear it needs to be.
That's my early take on this. Perhaps time will surprise me but I don't see this becoming a part of my regular workflow.

Not that I've seen, although I am sure they are out there. There are some really cool M4L devices that are unique take on arpeggiation. K-Devices stuff comes to mind.Dirtgrain wrote: Sun May 03, 2026 3:47 pm For me, it is a fun tool mainly to use when I'm experimenting and have no particular goal. I have it from that mega deal as well. Haven't used it yet other than a quick demo, it is pretty cool but it does seem too limited for the full price.
I got Riffer as the 'freebie' from plugin boutique. I had demoed it before. I think Melody Sauce produced more musical results but maybe Riffer has been improved since then. What I liked that I got cheap were Animation Station and Orbit (Euclidian sequencer from adsr).

It looks cool although it doesn't bring anything new to the table for my purposes. I'd like to see something along the lines as the Kay Algorithmic Real-time Music Architecture (KARMA) technology see its way into a plugin.
