Same issues here with the 1.5 update. Does not work on my Intel Mac - Ventura 13.7.8 - running Logic Pro 11.0.1.
After I installed 1.5, I opened a project in Logic Pro that used Miniraze, and got a Logic error that says Miniraze plugin is not installed. So I had to quit Logic, delete the 1.5 AU plugin and move the 1.1.6 version back into the AU plugins folder. My Logic song loaded correctly after that.
I've been really excited about Miniraze in some of my new projects, but if plugin updates won't be backwards-compatible with existing Logic sessions (like I experienced here), I would have to stop using Miniraze. Hopefully this can be fixed.😎

Not yet fixed, but actively working on it... will post here as soon as I can figure out what is going on. Sorry for the hassles!

A weird thing I noticed earlier today/yesterday on my Intel MacBook Pro is that when I right click on the icon for the stand alone version of 1.5, the info window that pops up says that that the app kind is listed as being an Apple Silicon application. I don’t know if this is just a side effect of other issues going on, or if it plays a more significant role in why we’re encountering the problems we are, but it seems the 1.5 update is replacing/changing the 1.1.6 build from an Intel or Universal app to an Apple Silicon application, at least as far as the standalone version is concerned. So that would explain why my computer won’t open the standalone version after the 1.5 update. I’m not sure if it’s doing the same thing to the au/vst versions. I’d check, but I’ve just completely uninstalled the synth from my system for now, plus I’m not super technically knowledgeable about all this stuff, so I don’t fully know how to interpret this information in a way that would help anyone out. But for those of you with Intel Macs, check the info window on the standalone version of the 1.5 version and see if it says the app kind is Apple Silicon for you as well.

I have just posted a Miniraze v1.5.1 build that should hopefully fix the Intel Mac issues. You can download this from your My MOK Account -> My Software Products : https://mok.com/account

I am really surprised we got through beta with this issue... apparently the beta group is heavy on the Apple Silicon side... I also added additional tests to our build machine to avoid this one in the future... definitely a palm to head scenario :dog: :dog: :dog:

Another minor fix, the Mac installer was checking for a minimum of OSX 10.11, but v1.5 supports from 10.13... installer should now prevent installation prior to 10.13.

Yep, that worked for me! Thank you. All good now

Sorry to say but I'm still having the same issues. Tried re-downloading the newest available from MOK site but no luck.
Crashes Reaper instantly upon instantiation... using MacOS 15.6.1

Was really looking forward to using the newest Miniraze update. Will try to go back to an older version to see if that will help. Want to support the project but feeling the burn big time...

Reverted back to previous version of Miniraze and now works. If there's anything that you would like from me to help trace the cause of the crashes feel free to ask.

Yikes, thanks for giving it a try. Another user has reported an issue with ReNoise that I am looking into, so will check this out as well.
Which format is crashing in Reaper?

I tested both the Intel and ARM builds of Reaper and didn't have any troubles... built up a song of several Miniraze tracks, rescanned plugins, etc. All worked as expected.

If you have a crash log, I would like to have a look. You can either email it, or hit me up on Discord rather than sharing personal data here.

Hi~ yeah, tried again to install 1.5.1 and still instantly crashes...
In Reaper as a plugin, the standalone Miniraze, the AU and the VST3 all crash upon instantiation.
Sorry to say, but it's not yet working for me.
I'll try to send you an email but not sure which crash logs you'd find helpful. if you mean the regular "send to Apple" crash log I can send but other that that I'll need some hand-holding...

Yes, the regular "send to Apple" crash log would be a good place to begin. Let's get on email or Discord chat, and we can go from there. Something really odd going and would be happy to get it working on your system.
