Hi - this is very cool. How does it handle AUv3 midi sequencers as Reaper doesn’t support them. Can I load an AUv3 midi sequencer like Piano Motifs in Patchwork and sequence a VST3 synth with it for example?Blue Cat Audio wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2026 3:37 pm By the way, an (expected) "side effect" of the plug-in scanner is that PatchWork can now load Audio Unit V3 (AUV3) plug-ins on Mac.

I don't know if there is something specific to these AUV3 devices. It is usually rather difficult for me to test many AUV3s as most of them are only available from the app store without any demo version. So I guess the only way to figure out is to try them out and see what happens.

Any chance of am updated browsing experience? Having to use the Mac OS browsing interface for loading stuff is not that great

Yes, that's the whole purpose of the scanner that fills the plug-ins menu and the plug-ins manager if you want more capabilities:

Hi - I tried loading some midi AUv3s but they just seem to crash the DAW. Some may indeed have compatibility issues, but many of them have been loaded successfully so far. Do you maybe have crash reports to share?
