The way that scripts are stored and then run (as far as I know - it might change) is a bit strange (to me). They're usually called macros or actions and exist among the keyboard shortcuts.unholyeyebrows wrote: Sun Jun 07, 2026 5:37 am I'm genuinely not familiar with scripts so any tips would be appreciated. If the AI can produce scripts that can then be cut & paste to then achieve a particular goal then that might certainly be useful in some situations.
Go to Settings -> Keyboard Shortcuts
To run a script (or macro or action) you use the section at the bottom of the shortcut list. Click the "add a new macro" button, give it a name, then put the code in the big empty box. Once a macro has been added, it will show up at the very end of the shortcut list. You can give it a keyboard shortcut, but you can also run it using the main menu - the last option is Actions and one of the options in there is Use Macros.
As far as I know, there is no way to simply run a script. You have to store it with a name, which is good for tasks that you want to perform regularly (ie. macro) but awkward for something that you just want to run once.
Note that I have not used the AI functionality and it may very well have a run-once function. Or it may have it soon. I can't help you there.
