senderella v1.06 - minor update

4 some reason the new version refuses to work for me (using Tracktion 1.6.01 i think it is). Put the old version back in & it works fine - are there any visual c runtime library jobbies needed in order to run the new version (since it's been ported from delphi) u know mscvrt's or whatever? Just asking cos I had a similar problem with some tools for editing baldurs gate game files - they didn't work 4 me as I hadn't got the appropriate libraries installed?

Ok, you are the second person that is having problem with it running... hmmm, I have no idea why this is happening. What version of windows are you running?

Windows XP - no service packs. - The old versions works cool (& is a godsend), new version's just not playing out though. My version of xp is fairly heavily modified though - every non-essential service switched off etc. Every other application, plug in etc. I have works fine - can't remember the last time this pc crashed or something refused to work. I'm just running through various component services now - switching on/off 2 see if anything positive happens.

Nope - tried turning some services on to see if it made a difference - but doesn't appear the have (didn't think it would really) - so i'm stumped - all i can think of is that i'm missing some system dll's that are something to do with c++ (or am i barking up the wrong kinda tree?).

I'm gonna have to investigate.. maybe the MS Visual Studio Beta (which is what I used to compile it) requires a dll that is included in later service packs. I'm running SP1. Hmmm... I'll defintely investigate this!

well - hope you get it sorted, and thanks for taking an interest/responding so swiftly - i'll keep on using 1.05 anyway. Tbh I likely wouldn't have stuck with Tracktion if not for senderella - coming from sx, coupled with the style of music i'm experimenting with multiple sends r needed & racks (though excellent for doing crazy insert routing) didn't quite cut it for me, if T2 doesn't include something v. similar 2 senderella i'm of the opinion that it should ship with it & u should get a humongous namecheck.
