Wow. Didn't notice this the first time I read it. They actually mention the groundhog...So sit tight until then, and we'll see what the Mackie Tracktion groundhog has to say about things.
...bizarre, but I like it.

Just give me rock solid midi input & editing, Midi out & PDC and I'm there. Tracktion's a fantastic concept, which I hope is still intact after the mackie buyout, guess we'll have to wait & see.
A quick side note...seems like this whole computer music game is consolidating quickly with Mackie/Traktion, Steinberg/Yamaha, Edirol/Sonar all going for a 'land grab' for some sequencer 'real estate' to package with their hardware. I just hope they care more about the sequencer as a musical 'tool' than as sales incentive for their hard-wares.

Lookin' good. I'm in eager anticipation for the words:
"Supports Midi Clock output" and "Full PDC" to show up on the page... then I'll dump my pants.

Really? I thought some tracks were getting out-of-sync when using UAD-1 plugs on a few others.AD80 wrote:Tracktion1 has PDC.Rick1114 wrote:.... Midi out & PDC
I'll give it another listen tommorow night and see if I can take off the DelayComp plugin.

PDC is still f**ked when using racks... well, it works I guess but it adds unnecessary latency. When you use a rack on more than one track you get increased track latency equal to your ASIO buffer value. So if you have a 2 tracks, each with 3 rack fx 'sends', and your asio latency is 10ms, each track now has 30ms additional latency.
Add to that the PDC problems with rendering and there are still quite a few PDC problems to clear up.
That said I am pumped that T2 information is starting to appear. Step record looks great; i can hardly wait to see the piano roll improvements!

Best ruse of them all. Look at the aliasing of the graphic. This is obviously a cut and paste job! nice one...
