just one now:
Sequential Pro-One.
Not used very much though, too easy to keep everything internal/vst'ed these days... sad, such good sounds going to waste.

Kawai K1 - It's my master keyboard. Not very good for that purpose. In fact, not much good for anything.
Akai VX90 - True analogue polyphonic rack module. Quite interesting but a pig to program.
Sequential pro-one - I'd love to say it's as good as people seem to think. It isn't. Shoddy build, uninspiring sound.

I've got a few hardware synths that I use off and on. Here's the list:
Korg MS2000
Kawai K5000S
Kawai K5000R
Kawai K4r
Kurzweil K2000
Alessi D4
Novation Super BassStation
Novation DrumStation
Ensoniq SQR Plus
Emu Orbit
Roland MVS1
Peavey Spectrum Synth
Peavey DPM SP/SX
Oberheim Matrix 1000
All controlled by two Midex 8 interfaces.
I wonder how Tracktion would handle these. I'm keen to try Tracktion but I can't get my head around how it handles and manages external devices.

What are you having trouble with? T works with external devices great, *except* for Sysex handling which is crap, basically. Feel free to pm me specific questions.relayer2001 wrote:I wonder how Tracktion would handle these. The only one still 'on display':
ESQ1 (battery died ages ago, still works as a master keyboard though)
In the cupboard:
*Casio CZ101
*JEN SX1000 (don't even know if it works!)
*Emu ESI32 + Zip Drive (the one thing really regret buying most as it all cost £800+, hardly got any use and I'm never going to shift it now - just think how much laptop that would buy if I'd left it in the bank
)
*Yamaha TQ5 (funny little FM desktop thing)
*Alesis MMT8 (Orbital used them, so therefore so did I!)
plus bottom-of-the range Alesis compressor and Zoom multi-effects rack thingies.
Like I say, everything but the sampler could, conceivably, come in useful one day.

You didn't miss out on much. I don't think it sounds all that great, plus the bottom end is seriously lacking.audiobot202 wrote:I remember really wanting one of those a few years back!Korg DW600 (or something like that) - under the bed, never comes out

Bend it yourself? If so how easy did you find the process?pHz wrote:(freaky) circuitbent yamaha VSS200

The reason I ask is I am planning to bend a Casio battery-powered thing with keys ( shittiest sounds ever without FX, fact )
Coffee please, black, no sugar.

Let's see...
- Yamaha DX200, Yamaha P80
- Korg ER-1, Korg EX-800, Korg MS-2000, Korg Wavestation SR
- Ensoniq ESQ-1 (dead battery but with a eprom cartridge)
- Zoom RhythmTrack 234, Zoom SampleTrack 224
- Emu ESI-2000 w/72 Mb and Zip drive, Emu Proteus 2/XR
- Akai S2800 w/10 Mb
- Clavia Nord Micromodular
- Waldorf Microwave XT
I have sold: Juno 106, Ensoniq SQ80, Roland SPD-11, Moog Prodigy, Korg Poly-800, and JP8000. For some reason I don't seem able to keep Roland gear (although I regret selling the JP8K). I just sold a Yamaha VL70-m. I plan to replace it with GPO in the future (after my CC catches some breath). For Xmas I bought this cool synth which does physical modeling of strings... it's called "Fender Telecaster", although I don't quite understand the interface yet.
