Actually, for some odd reason my hands never seemed to feel right when I've tried to play a 5-string. Doesn't really make sense that it would bother me that way, considering that the bass half of the Stick is tuned completely upside-down from a normal bass...and has 5 strings....but I seemed to take to it pretty easily.

I'm still trying to do more with the melody/guitar half of it too; when I first got it, the first thing I did was immediately gravitate towards the bass half of it (though I think that's actually fairly common

), but now I'm trying to stretch out a bit more with the instrument as a whole.

The stand is an option you can buy from Stick Enterprises...it's a combination of modified standard guitar stand with really nice wood and polycarb components as well...nice and solid.

'fraid so: looks like the new motherboard arrived DOA.

Gotta RMA it back and replace it...hopefully that'll do the trick.
