The secret to using Reason't sequencer effectively is grouping... I set the snap to bar... and I record 1-2 bars of a track, then, I group the notes, so that bar can be moved as a section... Makes it a whole lot easier, when I start moving sections around later... The only problem with grouping: apparently Reason snaps to the bar (at a point) that when you group the notes, the first note will be a little before the start of the bar... causing the grouping to be 2 bars instead of the 1 bar you selected... Solution is to turn off snap, and move the first note a little to the right... Sounds like a pain, but it's pretty easy, and the benefit of moving sections around in the sequencer instead of those little ticks (notes) is huge! Try it...
