Why I'm going to upgrade to T2

Well, I'll be getting the upgrade being the two things I wanted the most were done - color schemes (Yes, I know this sounds silly, but I like to be able to change the environment to fit the mood of a piece) and the line tool whose absence has been a handicap in my filter sweeping world

I was there from the very beginning and i'm happy to keep on joining the ride. Allthough i won't be needing all these features.
And T2 looks kinda nice too

I'll get the upgrade because it adresses my two main gripes with v.1: midi editing and proper send/return.
Everything else will probably come in handy sooner rather than later.
I also like the new color schemes, because my working environment has an effect on my mood, and my mood has an effect on my music. Visual impressions are an important source of creative inspiration to me.
And I'll get it because it's so damn cheap

i WASNT that interested in the update TBH since although i had been with tracktion right since the beginning it had slipped out of use here (other than for digging up the occasional old project) in favour of live4 and a renewed interest in energyXT ...
... however ... my recent acquisition of a 'proper' hardware synth (im not counting toys like my airsynth and EA1) has led me back to tracktion since energXT doesnt like my revised setup that much and im finding recording live audio in live a little fiddly ...
... over the last couple of days ive realised (to some little shame) that i had forgotten just how easy and fast tracktion is to use and i think that most of the 'issues' that pushed me away from it have been addressed in T2 ...
... so i will be upgrading because of ...
- improved MIDI / piano roll
- configurable interface (colours and show / hide sections)
- audio loop recording (never previously an issue for me but is a biggie now with my shocking keyboard skills)
- proper MIDI controller mapping
- 'proper' sends / returns (the racks were always a little fiddly to use for this IMHO)
... basically all the things that appealed to me in live but tracktion DIDNT have ...
